Antoine at Pole Position Dance & Fitness

Whether it's a performance or competition Antoine has always enjoyed being in front of an audience. He trained as a gymnast for many years, but quit in high school to focus his attention to his classical music training. For over 14 years Antoine performed with orchestras and other musical ensembles, but he maintained his passion for acrobatic movement and craved a new artistic outlet. He walked in to a pole class at his fitness center 5 years ago and found that his years of gymnastics allowed for a smooth transition to pole. He has been a pole fitness instructor for 3 years, and currently teaches and trains exclusively at Pole Position Dance and Fitness. As an active pole competitor, Antoine placed 2nd at the Atlantic Pole Championship (2013). He performs regularly throughout NYC, and is a monthly featured pole performer on both chrome and aerial poles at Duane Park-- NYC's Classiest Burlesque Supper Club. Antoine is a Mighty Grip junior athlete and sales representative, and received the title of "Face of Mighty Grip" for 2015. He is honored to be Pole Position Dance and Fitness' first male instructor and is looking forward to his future of teaching, training, performing and competing.

Ashleigh at Pole Position Dance & Fitness

Ashleigh was mesmerized by pole the second she was shown a YouTube video of one of the industry legends. So impressed by how well the performer seemed to control her body and effortlessly glide from the floor to the ceiling Ashleigh decided to grab her friend and take a pole dance class. Ashleigh's very first pole dance class was both a humbling and addictive experience. Her instructor that day encouraged her to have fun despite the fact that Ashleigh clearly didn't know her left foot from her right. By the time it was over, she was hooked and knew this was an activity that would work her body as well as her mind. As soon as Ashleigh's college semester finished she returned to that same studio and began honing her craft to the point that she is now a certified instructor herself! She loves sharing her love of pole dancing with women, many of whom started out just like her. Ashleigh's goal, as an instructor, is to unlock everyone's inner goddess!!!
Bonnie at Pole Position Dance & Fitness

Bonnie Fischer, a former Alvin Ailey trained professional modern dancer, has been poling since 2007 and has been a Climb & Spin certified instructor since 2009. A former professional dancer, Bonnie brings over 19 years of dance performance and choreographic experience to the studio. A scholarship student for such esteemed programs like Alvin Ailey American Dance Certificate Programs, Duke University's American Dance Festival, and PSC's Dance Performance Program, Bonnie's training has encompassed the masters of contemporary dance technique. Historically, a professional choreographer for countless dance, theatrical and fashion companies, Bonnie has a keen understanding of mood, direction, and message. When she is not in the studio, she has spent over 25 years rising to the rank of one of the top Fitting Models in the United States, whose body has become the standard fit for thousands of garments on racks all over the world with gross sales estimated at over a billion dollars. But... don't let her elegant pedigree belie her passion to inspire. Nicknamed by students as "The Powerhouse", "Drill Sergeant", "The Beast", "Wonder Woman" and "Mud Rucker", Bonnie's teaching style is one of tough love. She will demand that you “bring it” and will reveal to you that you are far more fierce than even you believed.

Danielle started dancing at the age of 13 and quickly discovered her love of hiphop, which afforded her many performance and teaching opportunities including opening a show for Ne-Yo as part of an all girl dance group. After graduating college, she decided she needed to rediscover her love for dance; in September 2012 she took her first pole class. It was love at first climb. Less than a year later she received her Climb & Spin certification and began her teaching journey, and shortly after she competed in and won her first pole title at the Atlantic Pole Championships.
Teaching pole has been one of the most rewarding experiences of Danielle's life and nothing perks her up more than seeing her students excited over their pole achievements. When not on the pole, Danielle has a full-time job in advertising and owns the polewear line LeiVola Polewear, which launched in April 2016. Danielle is thrilled to be part of the beautiful Pole Position family!

Taylor loves teaching lover level pole classes and parties because she feels there's nothing like watching someone fall in love with pole for the first time. She is a certified FlyGym Aerial Fitness® Instructor and is currently studying for a group fitness certification. She teaches a variety of skills, including Pole, Lyra, Fly Gym, Chair & Lap dance.
